Avoid Overexertion Injuries
All it takes is this surprisingly simple tip to avoid injury by overexertion

I was asked in one of my train the trainer classes the other day “what is the single most important thing I can do to make sure I do not suffer from one of those overexertion injuries you keep talking about?”

My answer to this dedicated paramedic fire fighter was simple. Just prior to taking the load look up. Seems simple but when the head is in line (neutral) the spine has less load and less strain on it.

I further qualified the question by taking it one step further, brace your ab’s! when in doubt push your tummy down and out, look up and your chance of sustaining an overexertion injury are drastically reduced.
