Panasonic developed a new LED emergency flashlight that can run on any size battery, & even on fewer batteries than the flashlight accepts.
In an emergency, a flashlight is a vital tool. But what if the batteries die & you don’t have enough new ones, or you don’t have the right size? Panasonic’s Japanese branch, in response to the tsunami & earthquake last year, developed a new LED emergency flashlight that can run on any size battery, & even on fewer batteries than the flashlight accepts. While it may not be as bright with fewer or smaller batteries, if that’s what you have on hand, it’s better than nothing. Read more at Gizmodo.com.
